Price </a></div> <div id="detailText"> </p><p> Porter, White & Company (PW&Co) announced that Pearce Construction Company, a Huntsville-based general contractor, has been sold to senior members of its management team. </p> <p> Founder and longtime President Hank Pearce will be retiring from day-to-day management responsibilities as part of the transaction, but will continue to act as an advisor to the Company.  It has been a privilege for me to work with such wonderful employees, customers, and subcontractors over the last 30 years, Pearce said.  I am excited to know that the Company will be in the good hands of some of the people who have made Pearce Construction Company so successful over the years. </p> <p> As part of the transaction, Company CFO Lewis Price, together with Vice Presidents Jerry Latham, Bruce Mullin, and Patrick Haga, purchased voting control of the Company. Lewis Price will be the new President of the Company.  We are all incredibly grateful to Hank for the leadership he has provided us over the years, and for providing us with the opportunity to take control of the Company rather than selling it to outsiders. Hank s leadership has provided us with financial strength and a great reputation, and we will continue to provide the high level of service that our customers have come to expect since our founding in 1982. </p> <p> "Fred Daniels and J.T. J. T. Price of Porter, White & Company acted as consultant and financial advisor to the Company.
