Tim Heaven is an associate who supports Porter, White & Company's investment management and investment banking business. After working as a summer analyst in 2008, Tim joined the firm to assist in corporate finance, financial advisory and valuation services, and investment management.
Investment Management. Tim supports the firm’s investment management business by reporting on client accounts, trading and rebalancing accounts when appropriate, and researching academic literature in the areas of finance and economics, utilizing historical and simulation analyses as well as portfolio optimization tools to develop an asset allocation strategy for clients.
Investment Banking. Tim supports the investment banking business by reviewing due diligence materials, building financial models to gain an understanding of potential outcomes for businesses, and researching comparable transactions and muliples to provide interested parties with valuation estimates.
Professional and Educational Background. Tim received his BS in Applied Science with concentrations in Systems Science and Mathematics and Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis in 2004 and his MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in 2009. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst Level III candidate.
